What Does Sponsoring Picnic at the Park Douglas Do?
Our Sensory-friendly carnival themed Picnic is a community wide event, that is open to the public but designed specifically for individuals with special needs, offering a day of fun, connection, and celebration—without the overwhelming elements of typical larger public gatherings.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of local businesses, families, and individuals to bring this event to life.
Your Sponsorship Makes It All Possible:
- It helps us create a sensory-considerate carnival experience, free of loud noises, flashing lights, large crowds, or strong smells
-It funds decorations, accessible games, adaptive prizes, and inclusive activities
-It supports engaging entertainment like balloon twisters, face painters, and magicians

Our Mission:
To provide a joyful and inclusive day for our neighbors with special needs—one where they can play, explore, and celebrate with comfort and ease at their own pace.
100% of all donations go directly toward these events. Our planning team is composed entirely of dedicated volunteers who give their time and energy to make the day magical.
